She cut the toxic ties like an unwanted growth with her self-love lance,
Victorious now and to past hurts, no f*cks given; and to the ego feels not even a glance.
As she swayed with the melody of her self-love dance,
Empowering and healing herself, each delicious self-care act deployed, slowly broke the toxic trance,
Instead of cowering or fleeing, she stood tall, and now pranced with confidence,
Feeling regal and embracing the inner knowing, she radiated grace, humility, and sheer elegance,
Reveling in the power of alignment and this newly found self-love romance,
Her heart is healing and open to give life, trusting and love another chance.
The secret to this victory cannot be earned or advanced,
It fully funded through the investment of curiosity of which only the seeker can finance.
Release the desire to be captivated and comforted by ego’s toxic trance.

I wrote that jingle a few days after Valentines Day this year as I sat in reflection at how my life had changed. I was looking back at the steps I took to get here and as per my usual, a rhyme followed and soon did the rest of the lyrics to the poetic flow that you just read.
It seemed like a great addition to this article, so while it makes for a longer read, it is well suited to accompany the message of ego trances and self-love dances!
The most important thing I learned along my own journey of rediscovery of self, healing old patterns, and thriving after trauma, is that there are a lot of ups and downs along the way. but the most important, is to stay curious, adaptable and resilient as you consistently show up despite the feelings of hopelessness and fear.
There will be good days and there will be bad days, there will be days where you get up and immediately wish you had just stayed asleep.
And then there will be days where you get up and you feel like you're on top of the world, only to be knocked back down throughout the course of the day's, (or weeks), events.
One of the biggest struggles that I have faced along my transition from surviving to thriving, is the awareness that in those times, where things seem hardest, is often where I am growing and supported the most.
During my transformation journey so far, I have had many of these roller coaster days and like most everyone, I have struggled to be consistent in not only my businesses, but also due to the complications with PTSD and thyroid, I have struggled with having good days due to decreased sleep and appetite. This dynamic created an imbalance in my ability to stay focused as well to be able maintain creativity and productivity.
It becomes such a nasty cycle, that if you don’t know how to manage it, will create an entire host of negative influences and unwanted experiences to navigate.
One of the things I have noticed with myself and my clients, it that when any of our basic needs like sleep, rest, stress reduction, and nutrition are out of balance or not properly met, that there is a decrease and a drastic and negative impact all around on one’s experiences.
This impact will disrupt focus, creativity, and productivity as well as contribute to unstable moods.
You are not alone and there is hope.
While it may not feel like it at this moment, there are ways to begin to unravel and rewire this impaired exchange of energy.
And on those days that you are feeling completely overwhelmed and questioning your ability to function, that is when I encourage you to implement the FIVE STEPS TO THRIVE.
Also, be OK with not being OK in that moment.
Be OK with taking a step back from all the demands that on are placed on your adulting attention.
Give yourself permission to connect with the inner child that is seeking attention to being heard and having their needs met.
These are the steps to follow so you can begin to understand the inner core voice of, ‘ego feels’, and immediately step into your ‘heart feels’ by caring about self and what you need in that moment, more than your To Do List of Adulting demands.
This simple, yet profound, act of self-love is the energy, frequency, and vibration that must be deployed in order to create the right pathway to access the gateway to the inner being and therefore access the power of alignment.
Like a nuclear reactor that is having constant disruptions in flow, that causes toxic leaks of ego feels, that create a continuous chain reaction of more toxic sludge and buildup of an unseen force of steam.
Toxic Ego Feels Emotions are:
• Anger/ Rage
• Rejection / Abandonment
• Compare & Despair
In humans, this force bubbles under the surface in our organs; like the brain, heart, kidneys, lungs, liver, stomach and pancreas; disrupting the delivery and absorption of critical nutrients and hormones.
This imbalance creates a sense of disorder, disease and further disconnection from the healing and vibrational frequency of the heart feels emotions and energy.
This compounds the ability to have the needed clarity to function and carry out daily self-care activities and responsibilities. These are the very same daily self-care that are essential for creating optimal well-being, creativity, and productivity in our daily lives.
The amygdala, (the part of the brain that tells us when to fight, take flight or freeze from threats to our safety), in this overwhelmed state, struggles to push through and manage the influx of data in an already at capacity operating system. In essence, stuck on the level of ego feels energy, the heavy density, strains and magnetizes the inner energy centers of the body; simultaneously creating further overwhelm to the system.

*Affirm: (Since what we focus on expands, this will provide a release and redirect of the mind.)
*Today, I give myself permission to not be perfect and be messy.
*Today, I will nourish slowly. Lovingly taking care to not cause further overwhelm, take *sips of self-care and self-love.
*This gentle action will show intention of your awareness, create the energy of self-empowerment as you powerfully show up and suit up and allow the flow.
Finding your flow requires a step back, taking a cleansing breath, relaxing, and allowing yourself to heal, as well as challenging yourself to grow.
Only then, can we truly regain our divine power to access the tools and knowing to find our authentic flow.
The principles of Namaste are simple and effective.
To flip the release valve switch, one needs to be willing to surrender to the ego.
This is a particularly challenging lesson to absorb, as the ego is very adept at staying in control of new and unfamiliar experiences.
But with the principles of Namaste Away, you can work around that internal and tricky, yet sensitive alarm system. The true key to unlock this, lies in the subtle ways that radical self-love and the heart feels can fly under the radar, undetected, as a threat of change to the fragile ego.
These necessary resets become how we show ourselves compassion, as a mother does a child, and are the unconditional love vibrations that are a healing and transformative force. As adults we get caught up in the ego feels emotions and we unknowingly shut off the access to our heart feels.
When we do this, we also unknowingly add more to the load on our system. We judge and beat ourselves up, and often we further abuse our mind and bodies through neglect and self-abuse, creating an infinite loop of negative influences and unwanted experiences.
I often sit in reflection and wonder what causes this dynamic. Perhaps it is because many of us were never given the permission to not be ok or the blueprint of how to create what we truly desire.
If we knew those tools and had been taught how to tap into the power of alignment to truly run our amazing and simple yet complex bodies, chances are we would have fared better.
Our parents never meant to send us into the world with only half of the blueprint needed to master our mind and body, as well as connect to our soul. No, in fact, more aptly stated is, that they were doing the best they had the ability to do with what they knew and believed. They were operating from their own blueprint, from experiencing what they had lived and learned as children, and adults as well.
And therein lies the dynamics of the epigenetics of trauma and the level of chaos and discontentment that we see today in our society. We have many individuals wanting to do and be better, but not having the awareness of how to reset that groove, stay away from negative influences and truly thrive.
And often, sadly, many succumb to the negative influences that substance abuse, avoiding their problems or worse, suicide is the answer to overcome this toxic dance.
Namaste Away not only gives you the blueprint, but also the inspiration, motivation, and PERMISSION to BE YOU and LOVE YOU… so that you can THRIVE!
Please know, that even if it's a day of rest, play, or crying it out, you are still placing heart feels of unconditional love by being OK with not being OK and saying yes to your no.
It is ok to stop people pleasing others, if they leave or get upset, that is not something to take personally. Lean in and accept that rejection is divine protection. Start getting curious about what you want in that moment to feel better and honor the reply you get.
Take that personal day to reset your groove and recharge. The world will be OK, despite what your trauma brain says, but you will not if you continue to neglect your own needs.
Remember that saying?
“YOU CANNOT FILL FROM AN EMPTY CUP.”
It is not just a bunch of words, it is a well proven fact. Not to mention, you too deserve a bit of pampering and time for yourself to replenish just like everyone else.
If you wake up and you are having a tough day, take care of the immediate demands that cannot wait or be taken care of by someone else. (For example: feed your family/pets/take kids to school, etc.), and then proceed to making time for you.
